Pickleball is a fast-growing sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. It is lots of fun while getting exercise in a safe environment and connecting with others. The pickleball ministry at Huntingtown United Methodist Church is a powerful force for positivity and we love the community it creates.
Join the fellowship and fun. The rules easy to learn. Newbies and those still learning are warmly welcomed. The court, balls and paddles are provided.

Two-hour sessions for 6 rotating players are played in Celebration Hall throughout the week. Every session is hosted by a HUMC member.

It’s that wonderful time of year! Join us for the 3rd Annual “Pickleball for a Purpose” FUNraiser, taking place January 15–17, 2026 at Huntingtown United Methodist Church.
This year’s event benefits the hungry and the homeless in Calvert County, supporting neighbors across the community who need it most. Our mission partners are once again HeartF.E.L.T. and Project ECHO—two incredible organizations serving people of all ages, from children facing food insecurity to adults and children who are unhoused.
Cheer on a team, support friends and family by donating in their name, give directly to the cause, or score something special in our incredible silent auction! With so many ways to get involved, there’s something for everyone.
You have many choices when it comes to charitable giving. We hope you will see that a donation to this cause is more than a gift – it is a lifeline to those in urgent need in our community. See the info below on how and when the excitement begins.
