The United Methodist Church recognizes the two sacraments in which Christ himself participated: baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
Baptism celebrates becoming that new person and joins Christians everywhere and is a symbol of new life and forgiveness of sins; baptized in water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Church members promise to faithfully participate in a local congregation by living through their vows. New members of Huntingtown United Methodist church includes all people by profession of faith through baptism or by transfer from other churches.
Ongoing Groups
Adults gather throughout the week to fellowship with other adults discussing the Bible and faith issues. Join with other members of your faith community to discuss biblical topics as well as relevant Christian issues. No previous biblical knowledge is necessary, unless noted for particular studies. - Monday Night Bible Study meets in in room #5 from 6:00 – 7:00 pm in Room 5. Also on Zoom; meeting ID 818 3155 7393.
- Bible Study Sorority, a women’s study/fellowship group, meets weekly on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 am in Room 5.

- Big Tent group meets every other Sunday afternoon at 4:00 pm. as a Bible study/fellowship group that seeks to learn, to love, and to do justice. Big Tent follows the tenets of Luke 10:27, “Jesus answered, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” We hope that everyone may find a place of belonging.
