The Congregational Care Ministry provides care and support to the HUMC family in the following ways:
Visitation
Whenever a member of our church family is hospitalized, confined to home, or in a nursing home, lay members of the church will visit regularly. Also, communion is provided at least a quarterly to members who are home-bound for an extended period.
Funeral Luncheons
Whenever a member of our congregation passes on to new life, we are blessed to host a reception for the family and friends in Celebration Hall, at no cost to the family.
Meals Ministry
Church members provide meals whenever one of our church family is experiencing illness or short-term crises.
Prayer Chain
More than 200 prayer warriors are ready to pray for you and others in need of prayer. If requesting prayer for someone else, please be sure to have permission first as all requests are considered public information.
