HAITI ASSISTANCE
The Baltimore-Washington Conference
of the United Methodist Church
Bishop John Schol, episcopal leader of the Washington Area, is calling all those in the Baltimore-Washington Conference to pray for the people affected by the Jan. 12 quake, which devastated the city of Port au Prince. He is also encouraging people to give generously to the United Methodist Committee on Relief, which is at work on emergency relief efforts in Haiti .

One hundred percent of the money received by UMCOR goes directly to the people of Haiti , the bishop said. A video message from Bishop Schol is available on the conference Web site at www.bwcumc.org.
