Welcome to Huntingtown United Methodist Church!
For directions go to: “How to Find Us”.

Whether you are visiting us for the very first time or consider this your church home, we are glad you are here!  Here are a few things  you may want to know as you settle in for a worship experience.

 Your Infant Children…

Trust our dedicated nursery team to take care of your children (infants through age 2) during any of our times of worship.  The nursery is located on the second floor in Room 21.  Our ushers will be glad to show you the way.

 Your Children and Youth…

Age appropriate Sunday School classes are available for children and youth through 12th grade during our 10:30 worship.  On the first Sunday of each month, the children go directly to Sunday School; they then rejoin their families for communion.  On Sundays other than the first one of the month, children begin worship in Celebration Hall with their parents and then go to Sunday School after the children’s message.

For information on our  Pre-School Program click “Learning Center”.

 Communion…

We celebrate the Lord’s Supper (communion) the first Sunday of each month to remember what Jesus did for us on the cross.  Our communion table is open to all; we refuse no one the opportunity to commune with God.  It’s your choice; please don’t feel pressured to participate but know that you are free to do so.  If you would like to know more about what communion is, please feel free to contact the pastor.

 Worship…

Traditional worship is at 9AM; contemporary worship is at 10:30AM.  In contemporary worship, some songs will be up-tempo and lively and others allow for quiet reflection.  Contemporary worship is very relaxed; come as you are and you will fit right in.  During the music you are free to stand or sit, raise your hands, clap along with the music…feel free to connect to God in worship in whatever manner suits you.  We want you to have the freedom to experience God in worship.

 Offering…

We believe God calls us to be generous in our giving so that we might be able to minister here in our church and in our community.  As a visitor, we want you to know we do not expect you to give an offering.  Our ministries are supported by those who call this their church home so our desire is that you relax and experience God without any encumbrances.

Fellowship…
Please join us on for a time of fellowship between the Worship  Sunday mornings. (10:00-10:30am)
