MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ by proclaiming the good news of God's grace.

At Huntingtown United Methodist Church we make disciples as we

· Proclaim the Gospel in ways that are multi-sensory, traditional and contemporary, and spirit filled to captivate and engage persons of all age.

We welcome diversity, support inclusiveness, and are sensitive and accommodating to persons with special needs.

· Lead persons to commit their lives to God through congregational life and worship, and educational and mentoring opportunities.

· Nurture the mind, body and spirit of all persons in their life journeys.

· Send fourth persons as servants into the congregation, the community, and the world in response to human need and as ambassadors for Christ.
